13U Black Team Wins Grand Slam World Series

The 13u North Gwinnett Bulldogs Black culminated one of the finest seasons in NGBSA history by winning the 2010 Grand Slam World Series in Panama City on July, 4th. The Bulldogs defeated the East Cobb Yankees 6-3 in the final to take home the crown. The Bulldogs were undefeated in the double elimination bracket that featured Competitors from Ga, Fl, Al, Miss, La, Tenn, Tx and Illinois.
For the season the Bulldogs had an overall record of 62-9-1 and were the 13u AAA regular season GGBL Champs. Along the way the Bulldogs racked up Tournament Championships in the Forsyth County Slugfest, USSSA Super NIT, Monroe Quadruple Points and the Southeastern Wood Bat. The Bulldogs finished the season as the top ranked team in Georgia and the number 2 ranked team in the Nation!
The team consists of: Mitchell Adams, Wes Bucher, Bryan Gropp, Robert Pucciarello, Jonathan Hughes, Alex Hartz, Blake Sangster, Barrett Willis, Jack Stucke, Devin Mitchell, Randall Watson and Justin Dutka. The coaches are: Head Coach Kim Bucher, Asst. Coaches, John Willis, John Hartz, Danny Hughes and Nick Pucciarello.
