NGBSA Baseball Skills Assessment Schedule

posted Jan 25, 2011, 1:41 PM by NGBSA Communications Director

[Sent 1/25/2011 to all spring 2011 registered baseball players]
NGBSA Baseball Members,

Skills Assessments are THIS SATURDAY!  Rookie (4 yrs old) and Senior
(15-18) do not have skills assessments.  All other leagues should
report on Saturday.

The schedule and map of our fields can be viewed at:
http://www.ngbsa.org/baseball-assessments

The schedule's purpose is to keep line lengths short.  Please arrive
at your scheduled time.  If you absolutely cannot make this time,
please show up for one of the other time slots for your league.

If your player is on a wait list, we're working hard to make room for
them.  Please attend skills assessments also.

Please bring glove, bat, and cleats if you have them.  The process
takes about 2 minutes per player.  However lines sometimes do get
long, despite our best effort to minimize the lines.  Please know
your league (based on birthday) and field number.

Softball assessments are also on Saturday.  Please see the website
for that schedule.

posted Jan 22, 2011, 5:19 AM by NGBSA Communications Director

[Sent 1/22/2011 to all past NGBSA members who are not registered for this season]
NGBSA Members,

Last week for registration!  Senior league still has a few
weeks left (after high school tryouts.)

The last day to register without late fees is Friday Jan. 28th.  However, several leagues will have waiting lists before then.  We plan to be able to place all players assigned to the waiting list to a team, but space is limited.  The earlier you register the better.

Please pass on the word about NGBSA baseball and softball.

We hope to see you back at the park!

NGBSA Spring Registration is Open

posted Jan 9, 2011, 7:17 AM by NGBSA Communications Director

[Sent 1/8/2010 to all email addresses on file]
NGBSA Members,

Spring Registration is now open.

If you need assistance, please email registrar@ngbsa.org.  We'll be
monitoring that mailbox throughout registration, and you can expect a
quick response.

How can I register?  How can I pay?

Online - Beginning at 10:30am on Saturday.  Visa/MC or... if you need

to pay by cash or check, please go online and register Saturday
between 10:30am and 2:00pm.  During checkout, you'll be able to
change the payment method from "credit card" to "Cash/Check".
You'll need to bring the check to George Pierce Park Community Center

on Saturday before 2:30pm, otherwise the registration will be placed
on the waiting list.  Your spot is not reserved until payment is
received.  We're not accepting checks by mail, because this is too
difficult
for our volunteers to manage.  This option will only be available
until 2:00pm.

If you need to pay by cash or check and cannot access the internet on

Saturday, please come by George Pierce Park Community Center between
10:30am and 2:30pm.  We have a few computers to use for registration.
However, lines can get long.  The line to drop off a payment will be
very short.

The registration link is on the ngbsa website in the Spring
Registration news article.  The link will be green and towards the
bottom of the news story:

http://www.ngbsa.org/announcements/springregistration

Please remember to register early, as we expect several leagues to
fill up quickly!

A quick tip:
If your credit card billing address is different than the address
that you entered for your player's address, please change it when
entering your credit card payment information.  If the billing
address does not match what your bank has on file, your credit card
will be declined.

Our website has new articles about the baseball clinic and softball
camps.  You'll be able to register for these when you register for
the Spring season.

Skills Assessment information will be posted on the website and will
be emailed to you.  You will not receive this information when you
complete the registration like you have in the past.

Please check the website often, as information will be posted there
first.
