NGBSA Fall Season Information

posted Jul 26, 2010, 7:30 AM by NGBSA Communications Director
Dear NGBSA Members,

We hope that you had a wonderful summer!  The Fall season is here.  A
few things to note:

1. We will have one final walk-up registration this Saturday from
10am-12pm at George Pierce Community Center (building across from
pond). This is only for those needing to pay by cash or check. If you
wish to pay by cash/check, you can complete your registration at home
but not enter any credit card information. Then come to the community
center on Saturday, and we can pull up your incomplete registration
and quickly complete it.  This will save you time.

2. Fall Softball dates have been pushed back about a week to coincide
with the start of the school year, as well as with middle and high
school softball tryouts.  Softball assessments have been moved to Aug
7th and will start at 9AM.  An email will be sent to all registered
softball players providing times for the assessments based on the
player's last names.  This schedule will also be posted on our
website.  Softball practices will start Aug 14th.

3. Baseball registration closing date is nearing, and we will begin
placing players on a waiting list.  Next week the teams will be
formed.  If you have not registered your player, you should do so now
to avoid being placed on a waiting list, and to avoid the late fee
which will be imposed starting Aug 6th.

4. If there are any questions about the Fall season, please contact
your league director or commissioner.  All contact information can be
found under Contacts on our website.

Please watch the website ( for news and information.  We
hope that you enjoy your Fall season, and we look forward to seeing
everyone back at the park.
