Held annually in late April or early May (weekend before Mother's Day), this is an exciting open tournament in which players can only use wood bats.  Javy Lopez (former Atlanta Braves catcher) sponsors this tournament and is on-site for hitting clinics, autographs, and brings some of his own bats that he manufactures for sale.

2010 was the inaugural tournament, and was very successful with 37 teams from 9U-14U.  Thank you Javy for helping to make this such a great experience for all of the players and families.
