Suwanee Fest, a two-day event, will be held September 20-21 at the Town Center. Road closures due to the parade, which begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, as well as increased traffic, will impact your travel time to and from George Pierce Park. Sunday activities may also be affected with additional traffic in the area.
Due to the annual parade, it will not be possible to reach George Pierce Park from Lawrenceville-Suwanee/Suwanee Dam Road from 8:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (SATURDAY ONLY). Following the parade, roads will reopen; however, increased traffic will cause delays in the area. Please see below for suggested routes for parade times.

- Take Peachtree Industrial Blvd (PIB) north for 1.5 miles past the intersection of PIB and Suwanee Dam Road.
- Turn RIGHT onto North Price Road for 0.8 miles.
- Turn RIGHT onto Woodward Mill Road for 0.4 miles.
- Turn RIGHT onto Buford Highway for 2.1 miles.
- Arrive at George Pierce Park.
From North
· Take Buford Highway south for 3.8 miles from the intersection of GA HWY 20 (Buford Drive) and Buford Highway.
- Arrive at George Pierce Park.
From East
- Go northeast on Satellite Blvd for 3.4 miles from the intersection of Satellite Blvd and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.
- Turn LEFT onto Woodward Mill Road for 1.4 miles.
- Turn LEFT onto Buford Highway for 2.1 miles.
- Arrive at George Pierce Park.
