EQUIPMENT & OTHER INFORMATION:
Your player will need a bat, helmet and glove for the assessment, but if you are missing any of those items please do not feel the need to purchase anything before assessment day.Cleats are encouraged but not required. The "Give-and-Take" tent will be setup where we will have some extra equipment available for those who need it.If you have equipment you no longer use/need at your house, please consider donating items to our "Give-and-Take" tent.
We encourage you to wait until after assessment day to purchase any new equipment as we'll have a coupon available from Dick's Sporting Goods and you may get insight from the coaches at assessments about what your player specifically needs.
Please plan on confirming jersey size/number and a Braves Country waiver (LINK HERE) that every athlete must complete. There will be a table with access to this form.
After assessments are completed, the coaching staff will have a draft to set teams and your coach will contact you the week of February 9th to let you know when your first practice will be. Opening Day for games will be March 7th - please mark your calendars!
Softball Assessments - Saturday February 7th
Softball assessments are set up to quickly evaluate the skill level of each player so that teams are balanced and fair for the spring season. There will be a rotation of hitting, running, fielding, throwing, and other drills (depending on age group). All Softball assessments to take place at:
